Have a question? View our frequently asked questions below.

Where are you located?

Portarlington Allied Health Group is located at 28-30 Brown St Portarlington, just down the road from Woolworths.

Do I need a referral to any of your services?

In Australia, patients have direct access to physiotherapy services. This means you do not have to see a doctor first before seeing a physiotherapist unless you are claiming your treatment through DVA, WorkCover or TAC.

All other services provided at Portarlington Allied Health Group do not require doctor referrals.

If you have any queries, please contact reception on (03) 5259 1537

Can I use my private health insurance?

Depending on your health insurance provider and level of cover, you may be covered for physiotherapy services.

We recommend you check with your private health insurance provider to find out more.

What are your payment terms?

For physiotherapy, we claim direct to DVA, WorkCover and TAC with no out-of-pocket fees.

We also claim direct to all private health insurance funds on the day of service, meaning that you will only be required to pay the gap (if any).

If none of the above applies, you will be required to pay the full amount of your service on the day.

If you have any further questions regarding payments, please contact our reception on (03) 5259 1537
